From time to time, as you know, I comment on non-soccer stuff, just to keep you from getting bored. This is one of those times: As you may (or may not) know, from today through this weekend the biggest comic-book convention on the planet will take place in San Diego. If you a comic-book buff, you're probably already there.

One of the folks exhibiting at the evnt will be a friend of mine, Fiona Staples, who has a new comic book out now called "Done to Death" from England's Markosia publishing. It is NOT for all audiences - it is a fairly over-the-top horror comic - but I got my copy of it today and Staples' art is fab. So, if you're a fan and feel like taking a recommendation from a sportswriter, go pick it up. And, if you're in San Diego, stop by their booth and say hi. Tell 'em Trecker sent you.
