WHY KOBE IS THE REAL MVP and I invite all haters to challenge me...

Wednesday, January 24, 2007, 09:46 PM EST [Kobe Bryant]

KOBE can score from all angles, we all know that.

KOBE can pass and his teammates are better as a result of it. The Lakers are 27-15 thus far, and they have played without LAMAR ODOM and KWAME BROWN for a combine 24 games this year.

KOBE plays in the triangle and plays for Phil, who has a system that produces MVP's (Shaq and Michael, obviously)

KOBE plays Defense, that's why he's All-NBA Defense almost every year. He will guard the other team's best player when the situation calls for it.

KOBE does more with less and has a winning record to show for it.

KOBE hits the three with three defenders draped all over him. Nobody does it better.

KOBE has been the most clutch player in the NBA since 2000. In fact, over 90% of the GM's in the NBA all said they would choose KOBE to shoot the last shot.

KOBE, during his entire career with the Lakers, has a winning record versus Nash and Dallas, Nash and Phoenix, Lebron and Cleveland, 'Melo and Denver, Iverson and Philly, Wade and Miami, Arenas and Washington.

KOBE is MVP. Statistical comparisons, regular season records, points per game, etc allow fans to back up their argument and make for excellent fantasy chatter, but as we all know they don't tell the complete story. In fact, my stats professor way back in college once told me that 99.9% of statistics are false. So go figure.

Can't wait to hear the objections... and affirmations.
