A couple extras that didn't quite fit my preview of UFC 64:
Would he like to go back into teaching when his MMA career is done? I don't know. On one level I miss it, I miss the interaction with the kids and the ability to make a difference in their life on that level. But on the other hand I like the life I'm living now and the freedom it gives me. I'm not sure if I could go back to giving it eight hours a day. I'm not sure what I'll think five years from now, never mind 10.
If he is still middleweight champion when the Ultimate Fighter winner gets his shot at the belt, will he be able to take his opponent seriously? Yes. I take every fight seriously. Once in my career I made the mistake of taking my opponent lightly, and didn't train like I should, and he took it to me (a first round submission to Ryoto Machida in Japan in 2003 for his only career loss). After that I got the message that I can't take any opponent lightly. You might think these guys didn't make it the first time (in UFC), but someone getting a second chance is going to be hungry.
