Amid all of the controversy the Texans will pass on Reggie Bush Saturday and instead select Mario Williams, DE, from N.C. State.  When they do this they will be making a huge mistake. 

Now this is a bold statement, and may be incorrect.  Actually, I hope it is incorrect.  If the Texans pass on the most electrifying college football player ever, they will regret that decision in the near future.  The house scandal will pass, and people will forget about it.  What they won't forget about, is how Reggie Bush was drafted number two by the New Orleans Saints,and is making Drew Brees' life easier than even Antonio Gates could. David Carr, more than any other starting quarterback in the NFL, needs the help of Reggie Bush.  Mario Williams is going to be a great player, but the Texans need more than just a great player, they need a superstar.  Reggie Bush is going to be a superstar.

The Texans franchise is going to change dramatically on Saturday.  They will either become a legit playoff contender and select Bush, or they will pass on Bush and select Mario Williams.  If they do this, they will be back in the lottery once again next year, looking for the offensive superstar they so desperately need.
