    The Day I Met Mario Lemieux

    Racing through the corridors of the United Center, a 5 year old boy with a jersey hanging down to the floor pinched Mr. Lemieux's pants.  His father asked Mr. Lemieux for a photograph and he clearly obliged.  It was a cell phone photo, nothing special, just a snapshot you would take in a hurry.  But at the end, the snapshot meant the world for the little hockey fan smiling excitedly.  The photo was a present, a memoir of the legacy of the man who is Mario Lemieux. 

    After seventeen years, Mario Lemiuex calls his career off.  It was definitely a tough skate battling with lymphoma, back pain and losses for Mario who spent his entire career with the Pittsburgh Penguins.  ''The time is right because I can no longer play the game at the level I'm accustomed to,'' a sullen Lemieux said during his retirement speech.  Mario is a champion who knows how to succeed.  Now his biggest challenge is tending to the Pens possible sale and the prospects of acquiring a new arena.  It might just happen for the future stronghold of the likes of Sidney Crosby, Marc-Andr
