Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Johnathan Babineaux was arrested and charged with felony animal abuse today for the alledged beating death of his girlfriends dog.

 Aparrently this sackless loser had an argument with his girlfriend and she left to go to the  movies and get away from him. She returned home several hours later to find Kilo ,her 1 1/2 year old pit bull mix in "severe physical distress". She took her dog to the animal emergency center ,where it was pronounced dead .

Babineax met with officers at the hospital and denied any responsibility in the death of the dog. He was placed under arrest when his account of the events did not coincide with evidence obtained by the hospital staff.

I know a lot of people will say I'm going overboard with this .and maybe I am . If he is found to be guilty he should be cut without hesitation by the Falcons, banned from the NFL and sent to prison, Where animal abusers are just slightly higher in the pecking order than child molesters.

 There is a very special place in Hell awaiting the vile individual that has so little conscience or heart for that matter  that they can beat a defenseless animal to death in an act of petty vengence.

 A lot of you will make light of this and perhaps even joke about it . thats ok ,I've been insensitve to things that have upset others so say what you must .

This in my opinion is one of the most repugnant acts that a human is capable of. A 6-2  280 lbs. man beating a 40 lbs. dog to death is the pinnacle of cowardice.
