I was a pretty decent baseball player as I have blogged before.  Once the shortstop and I who had been point guard rivals in basketball had an informal bet that we would make the all tournament team.

First game, routine fly ball to left field, along the foul line, I move over to the line, camp under it.  Ball hits palm of the glove, pops out, hits ground, error, runner on.

Coach Burton, "did you lose it in the lights?"

"No coach, I just dropped it."

Shortstop made an error too, took the pressure off of both of us, we both made the all tournament team.
